We are very pleased to announce that this year’s showcase will take place on November 20th at Rideau Park United Church (voice) and November 21st at the University of Ottawa (piano/strings/composition). Students are asked to register and submit payment through the "REGISTER" tab on our website.  Applications are due by November 2nd, 2026.

This year we are happy to welcome adjudicator, Martha Hill Duncan.  Students will receive written commentary and certificates during the showcase.  Our traditional gala will also return which will feature outstanding performances.

This year something new, CMS and ORMTA are collaborating to present a special concert on Sunday afternoon November 22 featuring Martha Hill Duncan and her husband Martin. Martin is a retired astrophysicist, he'll be giving a talk on the universe, stars, etc while Martha plays her own specially composed music to support. They have presented a few times already with great success. Martha is a good friend to CMS, we have lately been purchasing music scores from her Red Leaf Piano group for Gala prizes.

We thank you for your encouragement and continued support.

We look forward to celebrating the beauty and joy of Canadian music with you again.
